Hello, I started out caring for my Grandmother when she had cancer in the late 1980's. I have since cared for several elderly patients and my qualifications include caring for both dementia and cancer patients. Which includes companionship, feeding, dressing, bathing, menu preparation, keeping track of medication schedules, but no heavy lifting. Having been raised by my grandparents I communicate well with seniors as I find their life stories to be interesting. As a former bartender I have excellent listening skills and patience. I have a degree in Criminal Justice and was PTO president for 2 years when my daughter was in grade school. I also held several board positions for the Crown Point YMCA Indian Maidens. I am caring, upbeat, a non smoker and pet friendly. I have references from past employers and a review on here.

Diane has been a godsend, she was the first caregiver that we hired for our sister, who has dementia. From day one, she presented herself as an honest, caring individual. My sister took to her right away, Diane's smile was contagious and my sister looked forward to her arrival, she would change her clothes and put on lipstick - something she hadn't done in a while. Diane treated her like a friend, not a client, which is just what she needed. Diane has been nothing but respectful of my sister, tuning into her needs and helping her to maintain life in her own home. We were even able to take a small vacation, leaving Diane in charge of groceries and supplies for my sister and the other caretakers. Diane is a hard worker with great communication skills. If I had to describe Diane, it would be honest, sincere, dependable, caring... I would highly recommend her.
