I've babysat, dog-sat, cat-sat--and yes, I've even plant-sat. I am currently working a part-time job along with school, so my usual availability for babysitting are weekday evenings. There may be times I work on school work, I really like use this time to encourage kids to work on school work with me. Top 3 child care skills: I get along with majority of the kids I have babysat (so much so I am friends on Roblox with some of the kiddos I see regularly), great with communicating with kids especially young kids, I am very good at building connections with kids especially ages 5-14 (only because the toddler I regularly see knows that when I show up her mom leaves) Connecting with kids comes naturally to me, and I think it's because I can genuinely play with them as if I'm still a kid myself. I also believe it's good for the soul to let your inner child out once in a while--and babysitting is the perfect opportunity for that.
