I am a retired LPN, I worked in a SNF for 15 years. Geriatrics, Dementia , Alzheimer's, as well as post surgical patients were my daily assignments. I specialized in wound care. I have experience and skills associated with this field. I have also worked in the community as a companion to the elderly. Provided whatever needs they had such as meal preparation, cleaning , laundry, mobility and strengthening assistance, passive stretching exercises. I raised a family of 4 and managed the household too. So many years of experience in the home and garden. I am quite capable of many things. While my hours of availability are documented I can make adjustments if needed. I am not interested in a full time position but can maybe fill in some hours.

Dixie is my daughter who has taken care of my father in her home, for 3 years, until he passed away. Dixie did all of his daily care: showers, assisted in dressing, prepared meals, took him to doctor visits as needed. Dixie also took care of her father in law for 5 years prior to that, providing the same care for him. Dixie is very capable and trustworthy.
