About Dominique

Hello, my name is Dominique, and I am an energetic and caring 27-year-old currently living in Georgia. I studied psychology and mental health at the University of Northern Iowa, and have been working with elderly individuals and children ever since! I am the oldest of seven children, so I'd like to say that working with people is my forte :). I have gained meaningful experience in caregiving for the elderly through hands-on involvement that required patience, empathy, and responsibility. In my role, I assisted older adults with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, meal preparation, and medication reminders, while also providing emotional support and companionship. Through this experience, I learned the importance of clear communication, attentiveness to physical and emotional needs, and maintaining dignity and respect for each individual.
