I have cared for elders for 13 years, giving special attention to respecting their dignity. I'm not only their care giver but also a good friend. I love to listen to their stories and tell stories, play games, watch movies and go for walks outdoors. I take them to appointments and other places they like to go. It's important to be considerate of the physical, mental and emotional well-being of those we care for. I have a great relationship with the families, I listen and follow their instructions. I took care of my own mother who was oxygen dependent. I have cared for people with a wide variety of health issues including cancer, diabetes and various stages of dementia . I cook meals , do laundry and tidy up. I truly understand family members wanting to be sure that their loved ones are safe and lovingly cared for. I am dedicated until services are no longer needed. I was lucky enough to have met Donna a little over a year before my mom passed away. I knew I had immediately found a gem for my mom. Mom adored her and she couldn’t do enough to not only care for her but be a friend. They’re probably aren’t enough characters here to allow me to write everything about her and what she did for my mom and for me,, but all I can say is if if you have the opportunity to meet and or hire, Donna consider yourself extremely fortunate for you and your loved one.
