About Donna

My passion lies in nurturing children's growth and development. After retiring from the New Jersey Department of Corrections, I began working in the Christina school system in 2020. I wanted to support our teachers and children. As a mother of three, including one adopted child, I've always been an educator. I am currently a volunteer with a cleared background check and child protection registry. With five years of experience, I provide attentive care for one child at a time. I am patient, calm, friendly, and approachable. I have some college education and coursework in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Early Child Development. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents verbally at pickup and follow their preferred communication methods. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid. I hope to bring my experience and caring nature to your family.
