About Drew

I believe that care and knowledge sharing between generations is invaluable, and working with kids is one of the greatest gifts an adult can experience. Since I was a child, I've babysat, coached, and taught those younger than me. Upon graduating from University, I became an Outdoor School & Backpacking guide; gaining vital knowledge around Trauma Informed Care, Social Emotional Learning, the Beetles Learning Cycle, Montessori Style teaching, First Aid and Lifeguard Training, and how to have fun! I've also coached groups of up to 20 3-4-year-olds at a time in sports and cared for children in my neighborhood all my life. Connection to self, place, and inherent wonder are deep values I take into working with children; following their flow and remaining open is the fun part!
