I've been professionally pet sitting since 2015 in the Berkshires, Southern Vermont and western upstate New York. I've boarded for the weekend, and stayed the day--as well as simple visits for an hour or more once or twice daily. My time is flexible enough that I can do a job on a moments notice and a little bit more than usual in the summer. I'm not a fan of being in a hurry and believe pets need someone in the home when their mum or dad is away--but pet parents do appreciate coming home to calm and content and happy fur babies who have been with a caretaker compassionate enough to take the time to stay in their home for a few extra hours to ensure they are not afraid or stressed or have separation anxiety.
