About Ed

I spent my career supporting children and families as a social worker for adoption programs. I began assisting seniors when my wife's sister developed dementia and moved in with us. We built our home next to my mother's home and I assisted her until she passed at 98. In 2025, I assisted my 1st cousin/best friend, who was in and out of assisted care for 10 months until he passed. I'm patient, compassionate, and committed to creating a comfortable environment for those in my care. I am a good communicator, enjoy sports (played some college basketball) and play golf. I adapt to changing routines, can de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with empathy. I have degree in psychology and a Masters degree. I enjoy helping others live their best lives. I am a non smoker. I am Covid vaccinated. I have a nice, reliable car. My wife volunteers at Moffitt. I love animals. I worked at a veterinary clinic in my youth and have always had a dog. Currently, I have a cockapoo.
