Hi! My name is Eduarda (but everyone calls me Duda), I'm 30 years old and have over 5 years of experience working as a nanny, caring for children from newborns to pre-teens. I have specialized experience as a night nanny supporting newborns and their families during the early postpartum weeks. I'm currently completing my postpartum doula certification through CAPPA, which has deepened my understanding of infant care, family support, and respectful communication. I'm CPR certified, deeply responsible, loving, and patient. I always aim to create a safe, nurturing environment for children, while working in close partnership with parents through active listening and teamwork. I have my own reliable car, am very comfortable with pets, and come with excellent references. At the moment, I'm focusing on overnight care for newborns and part-time or occasional afternoon positions. "Duda" worked with our family for 1.5 years, though if we hadn't moved out of the area I would have kept her as long as she was willing to work with us! At the time my kids were newborn to toddler age. Most important to me in a caregiver is dependability and trust. Duda was always on time, and communicated well in advance if she wanted to schedule her vacation time. She is a natural caretaker, but also has many years of on the job experience with young kids to rely on. I felt very comfortable leaving my young baby with her and knew she would keep him safe and happy. If I had a preference for anything (sleep schedules, food, discipline) she was always eager to learn and implement according to what I communicated. And she was great about giving me updates on how the kids did during the day and sharing photos. Duda is full of energy and a delight to have around. She always had activities planned for the kids, and participated in many play groups. She can make friends with anyone, and I loved the socialization the kids were able to get as a result. I can't recommend Duda enough - I would hire her again in a second if we still lived in the area.
