I am a professional Nanny for 8 years and took care of kids full time out of my home for the last 16 years. I have 4 kids of my own (35 yrs old , 20 yrs old , 18 yrs old and 16 yrs old) I also had the great honor of caring for my mother full time for 16 years. The last 6 years she needed around the clock care. I was responsible for meals , medication, bathing/dressing, feeding, transfers in and out of furniture/wheelchair, transportation, appointments (making and taking) and anything else she needed/wanted done. I also had to schedule help for any time I was out of the house. So I know the worries of finding and trusting someone to come into your home and care for a loved one.
