About Elaine

We hired Elaine to manage a kids' room at our wedding in December. There were a total of 10 kids ranging in age from 2 to 13, and Elaine managed to keep them all happy, safe, and entertained during the time they were with her. We originally wanted to hire two sitters, because that's a lot of kids, but Elaine reassured us that she was experienced and capable of providing care for the whole group, so we went with her guidance! We also thought the big kids wouldn't use the kids' room, but they were all so excited that there was a special space for them, that Elaine ended up having the entire group for a period of time. She managed them all flawlessly! All of the parents at our wedding had marvelous things to say about Elaine. The kids were all happy and had an absolute blast coming and going from the kids' room back to the wedding to dance (with their parents, of course). The little kids who stayed with Elaine for the duration of the night were safe, happy, and content--even the ones who were a little reluctant to leave their parents. Elaine was also very attuned to safety. One mom reported to us that her kid tried to come back down to the wedding with another child's parent, but Elaine gently but firmly told him that he needed to wait for his own mom to come get him (Awesome job, Elaine!). Parents have told us after the fact that the kids' room was one of the highlights of the wedding for both them and their kids. Elaine was also very easy to work with to coordinate logistics. She reached out to us several times in the lead up to our event to check in and confirm, which was very reassuring during the chaos of planning a wedding with many moving parts. She was very responsive to texts. When she was with children, she would respond to us that she was currently with kids but would get back to us later that evening, and then she did. She's just all around responsible, communicative, and reassuring. We would recommend Elaine to anyone in the Jersey Shore area, including for a big, messy, chaotic event like a wedding. We are so grateful to Elaine for helping make our big day so special. Thanks, Elaine!!
