Hello! My name is Elana and I am dependable, honest, and kind-hearted, with 28 years of experience as a middle and high school art teacher. Now semi-retired, I'm building a small wedding decor rental business while offering flexible general help, pet care, and house sitting in the Hickory, NC area. I'm detail-oriented, respectful of others' homes, and committed to providing peace of mind while you're away. Whether you need general help, errands ran, overnight stays, check-ins, pet walks, or plant care, I'm happy to help. Though I'm newer to offering this professionally, I bring a strong sense of responsibility and care to every individual, pet, or home and I'm happy to provide personal references. When I'm not working, I enjoy reading, creating art, and leading women's Christian art retreats. I also love spending time with my family and our own sweet pets-a dog and two cats.
