About Elif

Hi there! My name is Elif (E-lyf) and I'm a credentialed educator with a Master of Education and years of experience working with students from Kindergarten through 6th grade. I've taught in both classroom and tutoring settings, including roles as a 4th-grade teacher, summer camp teacher, substitute teacher, and K-6 academic tutor. I specialize in creating engaging, student-centered lessons that align with California Common Core Standards -- especially in English Language Arts and Math. Whether your child needs help building foundational skills, improving reading fluency, or boosting confidence in math, I bring patience, structure, and creativity to every session. Above all, I'm passionate about helping students grow into confident, independent learners.
