About Elise

Teaching and supporting children has always been my passion. I hold a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and was a certified teacher in Maryland before beginning my Ph. D. in Child Psychology at Palo Alto University. I offer tutoring in reading, math, and science for children ages 4 through 12, focusing on confidence, curiosity, and skill-building. My sessions are engaging and personalized, using creative activities and positive reinforcement to make learning enjoyable and meaningful. I take time to understand each child's strengths and challenges, helping them feel supported and capable every step of the way. Whether your child needs help mastering foundational skills or staying motivated in school, I strive to make each session warm, structured, and encouraging.
