About Elizabeth

Hi! I'm Liz a patient, encouraging tutor with classroom and one-on-one experience. I've worked as a Reading Partners tutor and an AVID tutor, and I currently support elementary students as a school crossing guard and former paraprofessional. I specialize in helping students build confidence in reading, writing, and organization through gentle structure and creative strategies. I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent learners, kids who feel overwhelmed by school, or those who just need a little extra patience and encouragement. I believe learning works best when kids feel safe, seen, and supported and I tailor each session to match their pace and personality. Available weekday mid-mornings and after school, with some weekend and holiday flexibility. I also offer homework help, enrichment, and study skill coaching.
