About Elizabeth

I am a certified teacher with my Masters in Education and Orton Gillingham trained looking to help students with dyslexia who struggle with spelling, reading, and writing. I have been teaching for over 16 yrs, but started my own tutoring business 4 yrs ago. I love making a real difference in my student's lives tailoring lessons to each learner's unique needs through creative, structured, and multi-sensory strategies that build skills and confidence. My top tutoring strengths are personalized instruction, patience, and fostering self-belief--helping students work at their own pace while celebrating both big and small victories. I am looking for a position where I can build strong, supportive relationships with students and families, work in an environment that values open communication and flexibility, and see long-term growth over time.
