I helped take care of my roommate's cat since she was a kitten. I helped feed her, clean the litter tray, give baths, clip nails, and even give oral medicine prescribed by the doctor. When my friend went on vacation, I took care of her cat full time for a month. I definitely bonded with her cat. I would play with her, give her massages, and talk with her throughout the day. She became very comfortable with me and would even occasionally sleep next to me at night. I've come to have a deeper appreciation for pets because of my friend's cat (sometimes I call her my cat).
