About Elizabeth

As a prior Montessori elementary school teacher when I was first out of college, as well as a mother to a freshman in college, I pride myself in my ability to understand and work well with children of all ages. I also cared for my cousin's 4-year-old and 2-year-old (with Cerebral Palsy) for 2 years in Rockford when his wife was tragically killed in an automobile accident. I went out there to help him find a live-in nanny and ended up staying myself because I loved the feeling of being able to help and make a difference. The main qualities I believe set me apart are my patience, kindness, a great problem solver and humor (I appreciate children's humor just the same! :).
