About Elizabeth

Hi! My name is Lizzy, and I'm a 24-year-old with over five years of experience working with children of all ages. I've babysat since high school, worked in a daycare during college, and completed a summer internship at a Christian Children's Home in New Mexico supporting foster children. I also spent two summers as a youth group intern working with adolescents. After graduating college, I substitute taught K-12 and have spent the last two years working as a mental health case manager for children ages 3-17. In that role, I've supported kids in learning behavior management strategies and coping skills-skills that I carry with me into every caregiving job. I'm responsible, observant, empathetic, and dependable. I love creating a safe, structured, and fun environment where children feel supported and parents feel at ease. I plan to begin graduate school for counseling in the spring in Dallas and I'm currently looking for a full-time nanny position with a family I can grow with!
