About Elizabeth

I bring over 20 years of experience working with kids in a variety of settings. My journey began in high school as a babysitter and grew through roles as a camp counselor, lifeguard, and swim instructor during college. After earning my degree, I worked in outdoor recreation leading youth through experiential programs. Eventually I went on to direct a Boys & Girls club program, a summer camp program then landed at Bend Parks and Recreation as a Supervisor in the Youth Recreation department. I have also spent my time volunteering as a youth soccer coach, ultimate frisbee coach as well as volunteering as a peer mentor with various programs. As I am transitioning out of a busy career to explore new passions and projects, I'd welcome an opportunity to nanny or babysit for families in the Bend and surrounding communities. I have a passion for creating safe, engaging and fun environments for youth that balance structure, youth voice and opportunities for them to learn and grow.
