I have for years been a companion to elderly folks. My mom with dementia being the most recent. She is now in a memory care facility and does not need me like one would in their own home. I've done almost every task required for care. I also enjoyed the companionship piece. Drives, errands, lunch, shopping, activities. I have even gone on bucket list trips.
