About Elizabeth

Hello! I am the mother of two grown boys, and have been married for 32 years. In my early years as a stay at home mom, I volunteered my time working with at-risk children in my community. My passion to work with children encouraged me to pursue a career in teaching. After dedicating 21 years to public education, I recently took an early retirement. As a tutor, my goal is to assist your child in discovering how he or she best learns, and to help your child develop the skills to achieve his or her best educational outcome. I can provide encouraging and effective academic support for your child that is individualized. I can help your child build skills, confidence and motivation. As a child care provider, I am committed to adapting to the needs of your family. I am dependable, nurturing and patient. I have experience with children of all ages, including infants. I am CPR and First Aid certified.
