About Elizabeth

I am a teacher with 25 years of experience. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, third grade, and have been the Director of two Afterschool Programs. Most recently, I completed 14 years teaching at the Extended Day Program at Day School. I have been tutoring for over three years. I have tutored children ages four through 12 and am currently tutoring for five families. I have extensive experience in preparing my own curriculum. I have worked with several children with ADHD/learning challenges and tailor my teaching to the child's individual needs and educational challenges. I have experience with teaching time management, stress reduction skills, and techniques to improve self-esteem and self-image with children who struggle to learn.
