About Elizabeth

I'd describe my personality as funny, caring and empathetic! I like working with kids because I enjoy seeing the way they process the world so differently from adults. Being able to connect with a child and help them to identify their thoughts and feelings is one of the most rewarding things. I started working with kids when I was 16! Started working at a daycare in 2024 and have been there since, working with up to 12 toddlers at a time! In my spare time, I like to play guitar, craft, spend time with family and bake!! One thing you should know about me is I can multitask! Working in a daycare means I'm 10 places at once! My skills include helping children identify their thoughts and emotions, rather than just acting on them (talking rather than biting, hitting, etc), including them in day-to-day tasks so they feel important and to help them get a better grasp on the world in front of them, and helping them to expand their knowledge and develop their brains in a fun way!
