About Ellie

Caring for children is more than just a job for me; it's a passion sparked by positive experiences in previous babysitting and educator roles. Previously I have worked as an art museum educator primarily working with ages 4-16. Additionally, I have worked with students on the autism spectrum and nannied for a variety of families. Currently, I work part time as an artist educator teaching weaving to 2nd grade students. With a graduate degree and eight years of experience caring for children aged 1-12+, I strive to positively impact young lives while supporting families. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and enjoy playing outdoor sports , educational games and art making. I always follow the parents' preferred communication method and provide updates at pickup. I am comfortable caring for up to three children and have my own car. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my energy and experience to your family.
