About Ellie

I'm a senior in college studying elementary and early childhood education. I have experience with working with a large age range of children from kids as young as 2 to middle schoolers. I love helping children learn through hands-on activities that help them to retain knowledge that they can use to build on not only in their current environment, but in future classes and subjects as well. I believe in setting up an environment where children can succeed is extremely important because if the tutor can break it down into doable steps then students can learn that even if something seems impossible, it can be accomplished one step at a time. I have experience with the Montessori Method as well as learning more every day through my college classes on the most current educational methods to help students learn.
