About Elsie

Hello, my name is Elsie. I earning my masters degree in chemistry at SBU. I have been a teaching assistant for over 2 years now. In my capacity as TA, I have come across a myriad of students each unique in their own right. As a result, I have had to come up with ways to adapt my instructions to accommodate most learners. I can recognize the student who isn't afraid to ask questions, as well as the shy one who may need a little nudging but may engage if prompted in an appropriate manner. I am available to tutor elementary and high school chemistry both online and in person.
