About Emilia

Hey there! I'm Emilia, a sophomore undergraduate studying Interdisciplinary Social Sciences. I tutor elementary and middle school students in language arts, math, and history. I'm responsible, friendly, and always adapt my teaching style to fit each child's unique way of learning. I believe access to education is a precious gift, and I do everything I can to help students not just find the right answers, but understand why those answers make sense. I began tutoring two years ago after realizing I could make a real difference by helping kids build confidence and develop strong reasoning skills for the future. My strengths include patience, gentleness, and creating a fun, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning and making mistakes. I also like to use small rewards and positive reinforcement to keep lessons engaging and motivating.
