About Emily

After graduating from The University of Southern California with an MFA in Acting, I have found profound joy in tutoring and teaching alongside my work as an artist. For the last two years, I have been a Teacher's Assistant . My favorite environment to inhabit is that of education, creativity, and creation. Alongside my work as a TA, I tutored students in ESL classes. However, I have tutored in all areas through grade 8! I would love to work with you. I'd describe my personality as joyous, passionate, creative. I like tutoring because I believe education is one of the most powerful tools we have as human beings. I'm looking for a job that fosters creativity and positive change. I started tutoring right before I began my graduate studies in 2019. In my spare time, I like to read, run, relax with my dog, watch a great movie, cook a delicious meal! My skills include patience, positive reinforcement, adjusting to each students' needs.
