Making a real difference in someone's life is what drives me. I'm passionate about supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors. My goal is to provide families with a reliable care option. I have decades of experience working within the special needs community as well as raising my own special needs children and advocating for their rights. I also help take care of my father who experiences Alzheimers. I hold a college degree as a paraeducator and know basic first aid. I provide transportation, run errands, shop, prepare meals, and perform light housekeeping. I am patient, calm, compassionate, friendly, and approachable. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion. I prioritize understanding preferences and personal history when connecting with care recipients. I follow the family's preferred communication method regarding well-being or concerns. I look forward to bringing my skills and caring nature to your family.
