About Emily

Nurturing young minds is more than a job for me; it's a genuine passion. I am an online college student (which, rest assured, wouldn't cause issues or setbacks with my work) pursuing a degree in communication sciences and disorders, and will eventually use it to be a children's speech pathologist. My current job is an office coordinator, so I like to stay neat and organized! I have eight years of childcare experience ranging from ages newborn to 12 - all of that time has really solidified my commitment to fostering children's growth/development. Past babysitting/ nanny roles have fueled my desire to positively impact young lives, and to build my career around that fact! I'm patient, creative, and friendly - I enjoy watching outdoor sports, playing board games, and educational games! I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and communicate using their preferred method. I am comfortable caring for up to three children. I have a car and am comfortable with all pets.
