My name is Emily and I have served as a volunteer NHS tutor throughout high school. During my senior year, I was elected co-president of NHS and oversaw the tutoring center. I am currently a college sophomore with a 4. 0 average and I am double majoring in Elementary Education and Humanities. I have completed a one week-long observation in an elementary school, meaning I shadowed a third grade teacher for 30 hours. I feel confident in tutoring in almost all main subject areas and my strongest suits are English and Social Studies. As a tutor, I can offer homework support, help edit papers, create studying materials, and administer practice tests. I am willing to work with children K-12.
