About Emily

Hi, my name is Emily, and I am a caring, grounded, and loving caregiver who truly enjoys supporting children, young adults, and families. I have experience with infants, children of all ages, young adults, and elders - including volunteer work in nursing homes. I approach each person with patience, presence, and respect. I offer tutoring, homework support, and lesson planning based on each child's learning style. I believe learning should feel encouraging and confidence-building, and I gently support growth at a safe, empowering pace. I also support children and young adults on the autism spectrum, which has strengthened my ability to create calm routines, communicate with care and provide individualized support. On my own time: I practice mindfulness, value peaceful environments, and bring positive energy into my care. I am a holistic healer, vegan, and enjoy staying active and cooking nourishing meals. I have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a flexible schedule.
