Hi! My name is Emily and I am a special education teacher at a local school. I have earned my bachelors in music and community youth development, as well as my masters in special education, while also babysitting and nannying 12-month-old babies to 18-year-old individuals with disabilities. These experiences have helped me define my passion working with children who have high needs and those who may not need extra support. When I am not teaching, I enjoy playing music, taking photos and playing with my dogs! I have babysat and nannied for the past 5 summers for various families. Currently, I am looking for a full-time and/ or part-time position during the summer while I am not teaching. I am open to tutoring elementary students in ELA and Math!
