I am returning to Connecticut after spending a few years in Alaska where I worked as an Elementary General Music Teacher. I have a Master's degree from the University of Connecticut in Music Education, and I enjoy working with children and find their company inspiring and fulfilling. I am more than willing to share my love for music with your children, read to them, and play games (I love board games and card games!) In addition to my teaching experience, I have also been caring for children in various settings since age 10. I am also willing to take care of any pets in the home and have experience with cats and dogs. I pride myself on being compassionate, always positive, neat, and up to any task. My children said Emily was the best babysitter they ever had! She responded promptly to all communication when setting up the date to babysit. She arrived on time WITH age appropriate games for my 7 and 10 year old boys. She has a calm and relaxed demeanor which will serve her well as a teacher (she's a music education major at UConn). My children said she was so much fun! We highly recommend Emily.
