About Emma

Hi! My name is Emma. I have a degree in Family Studies and have always loved working with children. As the oldest of five, I grew up helping care for my younger siblings, which taught me patience, responsibility, and how to connect with kids of all ages. That early experience shaped my desire to continue working with children in both personal and professional settings. Throughout college, I worked in multiple classrooms as a teacher's aide and spent a semester in China teaching English to first and fifth graders. Those experiences strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create engaging, supportive environments for children. My background in Family Studies also gives me a deeper understanding of child development and how family dynamics can influence behavior and personality. I bring that insight into my childcare approach, aiming to foster both confidence and comfort in the kids I care for.
