About Emma

As my current nanny family transitions, I am so excited to connect with families in this group! My currently family will provide a recommendation. I'm a childcare provider with 5+ years of experience caring for children from newborn to preteens, including lots of experience with multiple kids at a time. A bit about my background: I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, with specialized coursework in early childhood development. I've also spent 2 years working in an elementary school with special needs and neurodivergent children--and I loved it. I'm passionate about supporting kids' emotional and developmental growth, and I bring a calm, playful, and supportive energy to my work. In addition to my childcare experience, I also worked as a 911 dispatcher, which taught me how to stay calm and problem-solve quickly in high-pressure situations. I carry that same steady presence into my work with children and families.
