About Emma

As the only high school-aged girl in my neighborhood, I became the designated babysitter as soon as I turned 15. Since then, I've worked primarily with elementary school children, though I have less hands-on experience with infants. I'm skilled at reading people, staying calm in important moments, and sharing in fun, creative activities with kids. Growing up in a family of educators--my mom is a preschool teacher, my sister teaches middle school, and my best friend works with children with autism at a behavioral health clinic--I've absorbed a wide range of techniques for supporting children's learning, behavior, and emotional needs.
