I'm passionate about helping young learners thrive! For the past 5 years I have provided personalized support in Math and English to elementary and middle school students. I hold a masters degree in Elementary Education along with a certificate in CT and Washington. I believe every student has unique potential and can achieve their goals with the right encouragement. I actively listen to students and vary my teaching strategies to suit their needs. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples and celebrate every success. As an educator communication is key. I provide regular updates to parents. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of my job. I am comfortable working at a student's home, online, at a library, or a community center. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I'm CPR and First Aid trained. I look forward to making learning fun and effective for your child!
