About Erica

Making a real difference in the lives of adults and seniors is my passion. For eight years, I've been providing comprehensive care, including respite, live-in support, transportation, and assistance with errands, shopping, and light housekeeping. My experience extends to hospice, dementia care, medical management, mobility assistance, and encouraging physical activity. My journey began unexpectedly while caring for my 94-year-old grandmother. That experience was an absolute blessing. It taught me the importance of empathy and patience, qualities I bring to every caregiving relationship. I adapt to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with understanding. I always follow the family's preferred communication method. Building a connection with your loved one means understanding their preferences and personal history. I have some college education and hold current certifications in CPR and First Aid.
