Watching my significant other care for his mother solidified my passion for caregiving and highlighted the importance of reliable support for families. I strive to understand each care recipient's unique preferences and history to build a strong connection. I'm skilled in adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and managing confusion or agitation. I provide respite care, transportation, light housekeeping, and more. I'm also trained in CPR and First Aid. I communicate with families through verbal updates and their preferred method. Knowing I can make a positive difference in someone's life brings me immense satisfaction.
