About Erica

Erica helped us care for our 88 year old mother since she started to develop dementia last year. Her flexibility has been very much appreciated since our mother’s needs have constantly changed. My brother and I live out of town and needed someone to help with her care while we were not around. In the beginning, it was all about getting our mom to PT, making sure she ate her meals and took her medications. A friendship quickly grew as Erica has an easy going and fun loving personality. Erica would get my mom out of the house every chance she could and even helped her make a cake for her birthday in January! When my mother fell & broke her hip in late February, Erica didn’t hesitate to switch her schedule and care giver duties to be sure that my mom was well cared for in a rehab facility. She drove from MI to visit with her, take her meals, and kept us informed as to her daily care. She didn’t mind asking questions and gathering information on our behalf as this proved to be a very difficult task via email/phone. Our mom moved into an assisted living facility in the spring and once again, Erica adjusted her schedule to help us get the apartment set up, get my mom moved in and continued to care for her as she made this her new home. My mom has transitioned beautifully and is thriving much due to Erica’s love & support. My brother & I always felt that our mom was in good hands when Erica was around! She is trustworthy, hard working and doesn’t mind going the extra mile to help out. Above all, she is kind and thoughtful and is now part of our family! We highly recommend Erica as a loving, nurturing care giver. Anyone would be lucky to have her assisting in the care of a loved one!
