About Erica

Hello! I'm a certified science teacher (grades 7-12) and have been teaching for just about 10 years. My specialties are chemistry and environmental science but I've taught most science fields and am able to help with algebra 1 as well. I'm positive and supportive of your struggling learner. Science can be a difficult subject and not all of our brains are wired to understand it as easily as other subjects. This is why I scaffold my sessions into small, manageable chunks so your student can experience little victories along their way to fully understanding the content. I like to make learning as fun as possible while still accomplishing the goal of understanding the material at hand.
