I have about a year of tutoring experience up to this point. I tutored 1st graders in both Math and English. I helped them with things like writing, spelling, addition, subtraction, etc. I always try to find a fun way to help them, I find this keeps the children engaged and interested in the work. I would love some more experience with other age groups as I wish to become a teacher in the future. I only tutor for 1 hour at a time because after that children start to lose interest and get frustrated.
