About Erin

For over a decade, I've dedicated myself to supporting children's education through teaching in the public school system. I taught a year on the Navajo Reservation, eight years in a small, remote island in Alaska, and a few years here in the Grand Valley. My approach is rooted in patience and creativity. I strive to create a fun, engaging environment for children. I am a certified teacher and have a masters degree in Special Education. I enjoy playing board games and educational games. I'm comfortable enforcing household rules. I provide verbal updates and regular text or email/phone call updates. I am also happy to help with cooking and meal preparation. I am not current on my CPR and first aid, but planning getting this taken care of in the future. I am comfortable caring for one to two children at a time. I look forward to bringing my calm, friendly, and imaginative spirit to your family!
