About Estelle

My passion for animals started when I was really young. My mom grew up on a farm and I grew to love animals, especially dogs and horses. When I lived in an apartment I could never have any large dogs (my favorite), so I always had small animals and took care of my friends' and families' dogs as my own. I have taken care of the strong-willed chows - and given them various medicines (a various dangerous task even vets has a hard time doing). I can stay overnight if that's easier, and you feel comfortable. I have watched rabbits, ferrets, cats, dogs, chinchillas, birds, fish while their owners have been away. I still ride horses although not as much as I'd like to. I have volunteered at each local Humane Society where I have lived (Madison and Eau Claire). I enjoy handling high energy dogs, as well as quiet independent ones. I enjoy being active for my job. I love to go for runs and play ultimate frisbee or soccer. In my spare time I enjoy reading and cooking.
