About Ethel Kathleen

I have 2 years of experience as a nanny for two different families on a short term basis. One was a newborn at 6 weeks when mom went back to work and the other was a night nanny for a newborn. I also have a special needs granddaughter and I am proficient in feeding through a g-tube and all that entails caring for a child with special needs. I have taught academically gifted students for the past 25 years including much experience with GT kids on the Spectrum as well as students with ADD. I can help with Light Housekeeping, carpool to summer camps, and Grocery Shopping and most importantly as a math tutor. I am a retired secondary math teacher (M. Ed.) in transition to the Hill Country and am available to be a caregiver/nanny for the summer. I believe the most important thing in meeting a child is to make a positive connection so that he or she feels safe and genuinely cared for and that their nanny will support their parents in making their summer a great one!
