About Evie

Hello! I'm Evie, a tutor who is passionate about working with students to discover and foster a love for learning. With over four years of tutoring experience, I have helped students of all ages gain confidence and enjoyment in various academic subjects, including math, chemistry, history, Latin and standardized test prep. I tutor for that 'aha' moment, when all the work we have been doing finally seems worth it. By adapting to different learning styles (which often involves a strong emphasis on visual examples), I love to lead students to that moment of understanding. I aim to help students feel as confident and independent as possible even after the class has ended, so tutoring sessions with me will include helpful methods and tips on how to more effectively study and interpret given information.
