About Fannie

Hi, I was born and raised in the Amish community where I spent my formative years which have allowed me to nurture a deep commitment to supporting healthy family life environments. I value my time as a nanny to be able to provide families an opportunity of having their children spend most of their time growing up in the comfort of their own home and together as siblings. Since one of my hobbies is reading, I also enjoy teaching how to read, write, count, etc. I enjoy spending time in nature and creatively taking objects in nature for learning such as constructing letter names and numbers. I had a1-year-old who was able to point out letters almost before she could talk, and by the age of 2 she knew most of the alphabet in both upper and lower case. I am certified as a Newborn & Infant Care Specialist and have worked at a Montessori School and became greatly influenced by their teachings. I hope to be in my career as a nanny for many years because of the joy and fulfillment it brings me.
